Agnes is a passionate advocate for equitable leadership and inclusive excellence, currently serving as Vice-Chairperson of the Black African Australian Nurses Association.
Growing up in Africa, Agnes always appreciated the value of hard work, commitment and, the concept of �Ubuntu� � the interconnectedness of humanity. Backed with these values, and a career spanning over 15 years in nursing and academia, Agnes brings a wealth of requisite knowledge and experience to BAANA in championing equitable and culturally inclusive access to, and leadership in healthcare.
Agnes plays a pivotal role in the strategic direction, cultivating partnerships and championing programs that empower underrepresented nurses� voices and communities to foster systemic change in healthcare. Her participation in voluntary work and previous leadership roles in culturally and linguistically diverse communities amplifies her belief in the power of equity-driven value to transform healthcare and communities.
